I’m also a host of the Inside PR podcast, CPRS Toronto president, published novelist/story writer (The Promised Land, Everything in Winnipeg Begins in a Car); former journalist; ex standup MC and ad guy.

Martin Waxman, APR – Bio
Martin Waxman is co-founder and managing partner of energi PR, Communications, Digital, a national independent agency based in Montreal and Toronto. Prior to that he was president and co-founder of Palette Public Relations. He has worked in communications and PR for 25 years, and specializes in social media, consumer marketing, product launches, corporate and internal communications, b2b and entertainment. Martin leads energi’s social media practice and helps clients develop strategic online programs designed to meet their business goals.
Martin received his APR from the Canadian Public Relations Society, teaches a social media course at McMaster University and guest lectures on PR at universities and community colleges. He’s currently president of the CPRS Toronto board of directors and is a member of the PRSA Counselors Academy executive committee and the Humber School of Comedy advisory board.
Martin has published two books of fiction, been a standup comedy MC, film and TV writer and freelance journalist. He received an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in film, television and theatre from York University in Toronto.
